Mist Showers

A popular addition to a steam room is a mist shower.

The mist shower is cold, and is a fine spray emitted from a special nozzle in the ceiling. The fine mist offers a wonderfully soothing contrast to the heat of the steam room.

The spray is generally activated by a dedicated tap on the wall of the steam room - an “undertile stop-cock”

It is also possible to activate this automatically using timers - popular in commercial health spas and Hammam’s.
