Custom Saunas

An Ideal option for an installation where the client has a room which is the ideal size for a Sauna. The walls should be plastered and the floor should be tiled - for hygiene purposes. Heat is not a factor as hot air rises and the floor remains relatively cool.

Use can be made of glass, which must be Toughened Tempered glass, generally 6mm thick. Double glazing is an advantage.

One of the advantages of this type of construction is that we can build around obstacles in a room, and can utilise strange shapes and even curves.

Floors should be tiled prior to installation.\Internal lighting must be 12 volt.

Heater size :

5kW - Maximum size 2x1.5,  single phase,  power use 22 amp

6kW - Maximum size 2x2,  single or 2 phase, power use 28 amp - with split level control, where power is reduced as optimum temperature is reached.

9kW - Maximum 2.5 x 2,  3 phase 15 amp per phase with split level control.

Timber : We us a pine which is a narrow cut (13 x 68mm). This pine is specially selected to be free of knots which is not only beautiful, but has far less chance of dripping resing.
